Oasis Youth Group Activities and Discipleship

Introducing Lou and Tanya, our youth leaders. Youth Fellowship - every Sunday we gather a group of young people who want to be discipled. They come from various religious affiliations or backgrounds. We encourage them to follow Christ, have a relationship with Him and encourage them to be involved in a local church. Community Service - twice a year the youth do a service in the community as part of their contribution.

Youth Outings - We take them to places where youth enjoy being, whether it is participating in a sports event, climbing a mountain, or visiting an island or a park. We try to make it a learning experience. Youth Camps - Once a year we reward those who achieved a pass result in their grades. We maximize this fun time with practical and spiritual teachings by: inviting a motivational speaker with a similar background; reflecting on the past school year and set goals for the new; enjoying fellowship and connecting them with new friends; giving them time to grow deeper in their relationship with God.

Leadership Training and Development - We see leadership as being a role model to the younger youth and to be an influence in their community. We also encourage responsibility by having planning meetings twice a month and give them opportunities to take initiatives. Sponsoring the Youth Activities - We have 3 sponsors and a church contributing to the camps and activities. Further donors are welcome.
