Tutoral Project

'Oasis' has developed a tutoring program and computer bay to assist students in its sponsorship program and other motivated students from the slum area to improve their educational attainment and therefore their job prospects in this very depressed job market. A study learning center with 15 computers is being developed to help students gain IT skills. Donations for this project are welcome.

Our tutor Elizabeth has after school tutorial classes in English and Mathematics and also takes the opportunity to teach Christian values and life values during these sessions. The classes are kept to a maximum number of 15 per class to meet the individual student’s learning needs as much as possible. A nutrional snack is given to the students during each lesson. Sponsoring our Tutor's Salary - Contributions towards her salary help support this valuable work, which is providing a positive long term impact into this local community through education.
