Tutoral Project

'Oasis' has developed a tutoring program and computer bay to assist students in its sponsorship program and other motivated students from the slum area to improve their educational attainment and therefore their job prospects in this very depressed job market.

Our Tutoring program focuses on Maths and English curriculum areas. These subject areas are recognised as being weak areas in student achievement in the Philippines at this time. In 2007, a computer bay was set up with 15 donated computers all with internet access to help students with assignments.
