Since 1997, when Oasis Family Ministries was launched, sponsors have supported the schooling costs of over 250 students from this slum community. We have given preference to disadvantaged families or students such as Evelyn (pictured here) who with three of her brothers were deserted by their parents a number of years ago. We select the more motivated and able students from these families.
The Philippines has a very high drop out rate from High School. Through sponsorship, many students have been given a better chance at life through being able to complete high school. Some of the more able students have been given the chance to complete college or trade courses. Currently sponsors are investing in the lives of over 150 students. School sponsorship costs: - NZ $240/annum- US $180/annum - CAN $200/annum |
